The Refugee Action Committee is a network of concerned citizens around Australia seeking the fair and humane treatment of refugees in Australia. They work to raise public awareness of the inhumane treatment of asylum seekers by the Australian government and to mobilise public protest. It is composed of individuals from a broad range of backgrounds and is not associated with any political party.
